CEED Program (Qld) links university students with companies/government, for completion of ‘real-life’ projects. Could your organisation use extra resources for an upcoming project, whilst providing a training opportunity for a near-graduate? Many clients also like to source future employees by ‘trialing’ CEED students on a real-life project – you can beat the skills shortage.
Via CEED, you can source good students from three Queensland universities (UQ, QUT & USQ) – from the areas of Engineering (most areas), Information Technology, Business (MBA, Marketing, HR, Finance) and Science (Maths, Computing Science, Biotechnology, Biology). Students work on their project (on-site) for 3 days/week (minimum) throughout the semester (13 weeks) ... and full-time over summer vacation, if applicable. CEED projects are integrated with the students’ university course, and students are assessed on the results of their project. They also receive academic credit for the project.
