The Brisbane Technology Park (BTP) was established by the Queensland Government in 1986. BTP is located on a 33.5 hectares purpose built technology precinct to support the creation of new jobs and knowledge based businesses. The Park is strategically located at Eight Mile Plains within the rapidly developing Brisbane - Gold Coast corridor.
On 1 August 2002, the Queensland Government through the then, Department of State Development, Trade and Innovation, appointed Zernike Australia Pty Ltd as Managers of the QCRC and the BTP Park Precinct.
There are now a total of 41 allotments within the Park. All allotments on the park are sold with freehold title to approved companies / tenants whose business is consistent with the specific entry requirements. The approval of the Minister for Industrial Development is also required.
